In Kiss' The Very Best of Kiss, you get most of the songs that will go down in Kisstory as really making an impression on the world of rock. I'm sure that many who doubt that Kiss made a big impression on the world of rock would be surprised that some of today's bands that they think are superior were actually inspired by Kiss/5().

· "Strutter" is a song by American hard rock band Kiss, released on Kiss in It was released as the third single from their album and failed to chart. "Strutter" is one of the few Kiss songs written by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley together: Stanley wrote lyrics to a song for which Simmons had originally written music, called "Stanley the Parrot".
It's the very first KISS unleashed on the world! It's amazing that this album was released in Feb. of '74 and so many songs off this debut album are still in the KISS setlist today including Deuce, Black Diamond, Strutter,, etc. Paul Stanley wrote "Firehouse" while he was still in high school and "Cold Gin" was written by Ace Frehley who didn't feel confident enough to sing thus we have Gene /5().
